Dissly caught five of his six targets for 30 yards in the 27-17 win over the Titans on Sunday.
Analysis
Dissly led the team in targets and receptions, but he was effectively just a checkdown option in a game in which the Chargers attempted just 18 passes total. The seventh-year veteran does seem to have pushed Hayden Hurst out of the pass-catching tight end platoon role, as Hurst played just eight snaps for a second consecutive week. The lack of volume in the Los Angeles pass attacking will limit Dissly's fantasy production most weeks.
Dissly caught two of his three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Browns.
Analysis
Dissly led all Chargers tight ends in playing time Sunday, logging 39 of 57 offensive snaps in the contest. Fellow tight ends Eric Tomlinson and Hayden Hurst played 16 and eight snaps, respectively. Dissly's nine yards accounted for his lowest mark of the season, and was especially disappointing after he had produced a 13-122-0 receiving line on 18 targets across the previous two contests. Hurst missed both of those games with a groin injury, and though Hurst isn't expected to handle a major role moving forward, his return to action in Week 9 looks as though it could suppress Dissly's snap and target counts moving forward.
Dissly (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Browns after practicing without limitations Friday.
Analysis
The same applies to fellow tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) -- who has missed two straight games -- so Dissly could lose some volume in Week 9 after racking up 18 targets in Weeks 7 and 8. In that context, he profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy option, especially with wideouts Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston (who had missed back-to-back contests) and Joshua Palmer slated to play Sunday.
Dissly (shoulder) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Analysis
After missing practice Wednesday, Dissly is trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns. The same goes for fellow tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) -- who has missed two straight games -- but practiced fully Thursday. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Dissly carries an injury designation into the weekend, but the looming return of Hurst could cost Dissly (who has logged 18 targets over his last two games) some volume in Week 9.

Status: QUESTIONABLE
Type: Shoulder
Dissly (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Analysis
Dissly missed practice last Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a limited session Friday and approaching the Chargers' Week 8 game against the Saints listed as questionable. The tight end was ultimately cleared to play in the 26-8 win, finishing with five catches for 41 yards on seven targets. With no reported setbacks with his shoulder, Dissly may have sat out Wednesday's practice for maintenance purposes. Meanwhile, fellow tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) -- who has missed two straight games -- was a limited participant in the Chargers' first practice ahead of this weekend's game against the Browns.

Dissly (shoulder) caught five of seven targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 26-8 win over the Saints.
Analysis
Dissly tied J.K. Dobbins for the team lead in targets, and the tight end has racked up 18 targets in the Chargers' last two games. The heavy usage is encouraging, but Dissly has yet to score a touchdown this season. He'll look to stay busy in Week 9 against the Browns.
Dissly (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game versus the Saints.
Analysis
After returning to a limited practice Friday, Dissly approached the contest listed as questionable. With his Sunday availability confirmed and fellow TE Hayden Hurst (groin) inactive, Dissly -- who caught eight of his 11 targets for 81 yards in the Chargers' 17-15 loss to the Cardinals this past Monday -- offers a lineup option for those in need of tight-end help in Week 8.
Dissly (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET game against the Saints after returning to a limited practice Friday.
Analysis
Meanwhile, fellow TE Hayden Hurst (groin) also is listed as questionable after logging limited sessions Thursday and Friday. In the Chargers' 17-15 loss to the Cardinals on Monday -- a game that Hurst missed -- Dissly caught eight of his 11 targets for 81 yards. On the heels of that effort, Dissly could merit deep league attention if he plays this weekend, but if Hurst also is available, neither player would be a high-percentage Week 8 lineup option.

Type: Shoulder
Dissly (shoulder) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Analysis
Dissly appeared on the Chargers' Week 7 injury report due to the same shoulder issue, but after logging a limited practice Thursday he put in full practices Friday and Saturday to clear the way for him to suit up Monday against the Cardinals. He proceeded to turn in a season-best line (eight catches for 81 yards on 11 targets) in the 17-15 win, but his shoulder injury may have worsened at some point along the way. Dissly has now been a spectator for both of the Chargers' first Week 8 practices, so he may need to participate in some capacity Friday to have a chance at playing Sunday versus the Saints.
