Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi said Monday that Kamara (groin) has been diagnosed with an adductor injury after initial medical imaging results, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Analysis
Kamara was forced out of New Orleans' 20-19 loss against Washington in Week 15 in the second half, and it's possible his groin injury could impact his availability for Monday night's road matchup against Green Bay on Dec. 23. If Kamara were to miss any time, second-year pro Kendre Miller and veteran Jamaal Williams would be positioned as the lead options in the Saints backfield. Further details on Kamara's health may not be made available until later during Week 16 prep, with New Orleans' first official practice scheduled to occur Thursday.

Kamara sustained a groin injury during Sunday's contest against the Commanders.
Analysis
Kamara brushed off an illness in order to suit up Week 15, but he paid a visit to the sideline tent in the second half before the Saints announced a new health concern for the running back. At the point of his departure, he had notched five carries for 12 yards and four catches (on five targets) for 58 yards and one touchdown. Kendre Miller likely will lead New Orleans' backfield in Kamara's stead, while veteran Jamaal Williams also is on hand for RB reps.

Kamara (illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Analysis
Kamara returned to full practice participation Friday after an illness kept him out the previous two days. He shouldn't have any limitations come Sunday, but the Saints did get fellow running back Kendre Miller more involved in the offense during last week's win over the Giants, and they'll now be playing without No. 1 quarterback Derek Carr (hand/concussion). Both developments negatively impact Kamara's fantasy projection, but he's still worth starting in most formats as the likely centerpiece of an injury-riddled offense.
Kamara (illness) returned to practice Friday, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Analysis
Kamara's return to drills after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday puts him on track to play Sunday against the Commanders. If Kamara is unable to go, the Saints could opt for an extended look at Kendre Miller out of the backfield. If Kamara does play, he'd figure to again be the centerpiece of the offense, with Jake Haener named as the starting QB.

Kamara (illness) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Analysis
Kamara now has opened Week 15 prep with back-to-back absences due to an illness, giving him just one more chance to mix into drills before the weekend. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not he's tagged with a designation for Sunday's game against the Commanders. Behind Kamara, Kendre Miller and Jamaal Williams are the next players up in the Saints backfield.

Kamara didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Analysis
It's unclear if Kamara's ailment is something that may place him in danger of missing time, but his activity level Thursday and Friday likely will be telling for his potential to suit up Sunday against the Commanders. In two games since the Saints' Week 12 bye, he's tallied 49 touches for 198 yards from scrimmage and no touchdowns, so there would be plenty of work for Kendre Miller and Jamaal Williams if Kamara is inhibited or sidelined this weekend.

Kamara carried the ball 17 times for 44 yards and caught all five of his targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 14-11 win over the Giants.
Analysis
The game was a slog for both offenses, and Kamara's 44 rushing yards was his lowest total since Week 7. The star running back did catch at least four passes for the 10th straight game however, and his 64 receptions on the season leads all RBs, just ahead of De'Von Achane (63). Kamara is just 73 scrimmage yards short of reaching 1,500 for the fourth time in his career and the first time since 2020, and he needs 62 more rushing yards to hit 1,000 for the first time. He'll take aim at both marks in Week 15 against the Commanders.
Kamara rushed for 112 yards on 23 carries while catching four of six targets for seven receiving yards in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Rams.
Analysis
Kamara churned out his third 100-plus yard rushing effort of the season on a healthy mark of 4.9 yards per carry. Conversely, the versatile back was held in check on all four of his receptions, leading to his worst performance as a receiver through 12 games. The 28-year-old's scoreless streak also reached six games, which has somewhat dampened the fantasy stud's value as the season chugs along. All that said, Kamara continues to provide strong fantasy numbers for a team that continues to drop in the standings. The same can be expected in a road tilt against the Giants next Sunday.
Kamara carried the ball 16 times for 67 yards and caught all four of his targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 35-14 win over the Browns.
Analysis
The Saints' ground game dominated, but it wasn't Kamara leading the way, as Taysom Hill erupted for 138 rushing yards and three TDs. It's the first time since Week 7 that Kamara hasn't reached 100 scrimmage yards, but his TD drought stands at five games. He'll get a chance to recharge his batteries during a Week 12 bye.
