Bowles didn't completely close the door on Godwin playing again in 2024, but the wideout would likely need to make a swifter recovery than what is typically associated with a dislocated ankle, and the Buccaneers would also need to make a deep playoff run. He was later carted off the field with an air cast on his left leg. Following his first multi-score game of the season, Godwin will likely play another sizable role in a Week 7 interconference home showdown against the Ravens on Monday night, Oct. 21.
