Analysis

Hopkins was dealt to the Chiefs prior to the team's Week 7 contest against the Bills, and the veteran required a little time to get up to speed with the playbook over the first couple of games but compiled 39 grabs for 408 yards and four touchdowns over the final nine regular-season contests. He was held to just three catches for 39 yards on eight targets over his three playoff tilts. The veteran wideout's contract voids Feb. 17, meaning Hopkins will likely enter unrestricted free agency again leading into his age-33 season in 2025. While he's unlikely to see a resurgence in his production back to his prime years, Hopkins still should find a home as a contributing veteran wideout somewhere, and he's just one year removed from a 1,000-yard receiving season in 2023 with the Titans.

Analysis

Hopkins finished the AFC Championship Game just seventh on the team in terms of receiving, after having failed to secure his only target during Kansas City's divisional-round win over the Texans. The veteran wideout had strung together nine consecutive games with four or more targets to finish the regular season (he rested Week 18), but he's now drawn just a combined three targets across two playoff appearances. Hopkins could be more involved versus the Eagles on Sunday, Feb. 9 in Super Bowl LIX.

Hopkins wasn't among the inactives for Sunday's regular-season finale, but the Chiefs opted to rest their starters with the No.1 seed locked up heading into the contest. Kansas City has a bye week on tap before they start their postseason run in the divisional round, and Hopkins should rejoin the action then.

The Chiefs are already locked in as the AFC's No. 1 seed and will rest several key veterans in Week 18, but Hopkins won't be among them. Hopkins will likely still play only limited snaps, especially when the Chiefs are not near the red zone. It might still be a tough ask for Hopkins to get into the end zone, especially if he draws coverage from star Denver cornerback Patrick Surtain while Carson Wentz is at quarterback for the Chiefs rather than Patrick Mahomes (ankle).

Patrick Mahomes threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns, but Hopkins wasn't responsible for much of that production. While Hopkins' jump ball ability is still a valuable asset, Kansas City has preferred to get the ball out quickly to speedier alternatives such as Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown, limiting Hopkins' involvement in recent weeks. Hopkins could be rested in Week 18 against the Broncos since the Chiefs have sewn up the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Analysis

Hopkins was once again limited to less than 40 yards in Week 16, marking his third straight contest failing to reach that mark and fifth time in nine games since being traded to Kansas City. The wide receiver has reeled in 13 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown over the last three games. With Hollywood Brown back in action, Hopkins may see a drop in production moving forward.

Analysis

Hopkins finished second in receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon for the Chiefs, although the latter total was particularly unremarkable. Hopkins has at least four catches in four straight games, but he's been under 40 receiving yards in four of his last five contests overall. Hopkins could continue to struggle with efficiency in a Week 16 home matchup against the Texans on Saturday afternoon if Patrick Mahomes (ankle) is forced to miss the contest and is replaced by Carson Wentz.

Analysis

Hopkins scored a nine-yard touchdown in the second quarter and got both hands on a deep ball just outside the end zone early in the fourth before having it knocked out by a jarring hit for an incomplete pass. He accounted for Kansas City's only touchdown of the game but finished third on the team in receiving yards behind Travis Kelce (45) and Xavier Worthy (41) despite pacing the team in targets. Hopkins has established himself as the No. 1 wide receiver in Kansas City heading into a Week 15 matchup with the Browns, notching nine targets in three of his last six games while scoring four touchdowns over that span.

Analysis

Hopkins snapped out of a marginal slump to post his highest receiving yardage total of both Friday's win and his season to date. The 32-year-old also recorded a season-worst 44 percent catch rate in order to become the Chiefs' leading receiver. Hopkins managed to help his offense beyond the box score by drawing two instrumental pass interference flags late in a hard-fought victory. He should continue providing flex value in most fantasy formats for next Sunday's home matchup against the Chargers in Week 14.
