Engram secured five of seven targets for 28 yards in the Jaguars' 52-6 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
Analysis
Engram tied Brian Thomas for the team lead in receptions and targets but was a distant second in receiving yards. It was the third straight game with at least five receptions for Engram, but he's failed to top 45 receiving yards in five consecutive contests. The veteran tight end may fare better if Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) can get back under center in Week 13 against the Texans following a Week 12 bye.
Engram recorded six receptions on eight targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis
Engram was one of the few Jacksonville pass catchers who was able to get anything going with Mac Jones under center. He led the team in targets and was the only player to record more than a pair of receptions. The end result was still uninspiring for Engram, as he was targeted primarily in short areas of the field, limiting his ability to rack up meaningful yardage.
Engram finished with five receptions (on 10 targets) for 45 yards in Sunday's 28-23 loss to the Eagles.
Analysis
Engram led the Jaguars in receiving yards, receptions and targets in a game during which the offense did not have a passing touchdown. The 30-year-old produced a decent fantasy score on the heels of his first touchdown catch of the season. The veteran tight end is now averaging six receptions for 54.5 yards over his last four games since returning from injury. Engram should be considered a reliable fantasy play heading into next Sunday's tilt against Minnesota.
Engram caught four of five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Packers.
Analysis
Engram cashed in his first touchdown of the season in the second half of a narrow loss to Green Bay. The athletic tight end had participated in just three games prior to Sunday's score, marking a good time for fantasy managers in need of a tight end to pick up the veteran. Engram carries value into a Week 9 matchup against the Eagles next Sunday.
Engram (hamstring) was a full practice participant Thursday.
Analysis
After missing four straight games with a hamstring injury from Weeks 2 through 6, Engram has suited up in both of Jacksonville's last two contests while putting together a 15-137-0 receiving line on 15 targets. He was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, but his ability to take every rep a day later likely implies that his reps were capped to begin the week merely for maintenance purposes. Engram should be ready to operate as one of quarterback Trevor Lawrence's top targets in Sunday's game versus the Packers.
Engram (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
Analysis
Engram missed four straight games with the hamstring injury earlier in the season, and though the Jaguars continue to manage his practice reps, he has suited up for the last two contests while catching all 15 of his targets between Weeks 6 and 7. Barring a setback, Engram should be available for a favorable matchup Sunday against a Packers defense that has struggled to contain tight ends this season.
Injury Status
Status: QUESTIONABLE
Type: Hamstring
Engram secured all five targets for 35 yards in the Jaguars' 32-16 win over the Patriots on Sunday in London.
Analysis
Engram finished tied with Brian Thomas for the team lead in receptions and targets, but he was a distant second to his teammate in receiving yards. Nevertheless, the Jaguars had the luxury of not having to be overly aggressive through the air due to game script, leading to Trevor Lawrence throwing only a total of 20 times. Despite the modest production Sunday, Engram encouragingly has a 15-137-0 line on 15 targets over his first two games back from a hamstring injury, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 8 home matchup against the Packers.
Engram (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Demetrius Harvey of the Florida Times-Union reports.
Analysis
Engram had a productive return from a four-week absence due to a hamstring injury in Jacksonville's 35-16 loss to the Bears this past Sunday, logging 10 catches for 102 yards. He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday by the same injury but has been cleared for action Sunday after a full session Friday, sparing Engram's fantasy managers the headache of getting up early to check on his status before Sunday's 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff at Wembley Stadium in England.
Engram (hamstring) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Analysis
Engram still hasn't been a full practice participant since injuring his hamstring in pregame warmups Week 2, but he finally returned to action this past Sunday and caught each of his 10 targets for 102 yards in a 35-16 loss to the Bears. He handled a 62 percent snap share and 75 percent route share, playing deep into the fourth quarter without any hint of an injury aggravation/setback. Engram seems on track to play again this Sunday against the Patriots, but an injury designation remains possible given his continued limitations in practice.
