Wilson completed 14 of 22 passes for 128 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Eagles. He added four rushes for 13 yards while losing a fumble.
Analysis
The Eagles dominated time of possession, and the Steelers ran only offensive 41 plays. That was due in part to Wilson's inability to move the Pittsburgh offense, as the unit totaled -19 yards through their five possessions while picking up only 163 net yards for the game. The end result was Wilson's lowest yardage total as the team's starter and his second consecutive performance with less than 160 passing yards with George Pickens (hamstring) sidelined. Though Baltimore's passing defense, which Pittsburgh's offense will face next Saturday, has been leaky at times, it will be difficult to trust Wilson moving forward -- particularly as long as Pickens is out.
Wilson completed 15 of 26 passes for 158 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Browns. He added six rushes for 17 yards.
Analysis
Wilson started the game slowly as he had just 46 yards on 16 attempts at halftime. However, he led the Steelers on an eight-play, 67-yard touchdown drive that ended with a 10-yard pass to Van Jefferson on the team's first offensive possession. One drive later, he took advantage of a short field and delivered a 20-yard score to Pat Freiermuth. This wasn't Wilson's most prolific performance, but he managed the offense well and threw for multiple scores for the fourth time in seven starts on the campaign.
Wilson completed 29 of 38 passes for 414 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 44-38 win over the Bengals.
Analysis
Wilson got off to a rough start, as his fourth pass attempt of the game was picked and returned for a score. However, he was nearly mistake-free from there, completing nine passes of 20 yards or more en route to averaging 10.9 yards per attempt. Wilson also threw for multiple scores, which came from 17, 23 and 25 yards away, for the first time since Week 10. Despite the strong showing, Wilson remains a risky fantasy option reliant upon strong efficiency, as this marked just the second time in six starts that he's attempted 30 passes.
Wilson completed 21 of 28 passes for 270 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and rushed three times for 10 yards in the Steelers' 24-19 loss to the Browns on Thursday night. He also lost a fumble and recovered another.
Analysis
Wilson put up his second-highest passing yardage total of the season in a game that was played in significantly inclement winter weather as it unfolded. Wilson was able to get the Steelers within striking distance of a potential game-winning score on the final drive before throwing an incompletion on a Hail Mary as time expired. Prior to that, the veteran signal-caller connected with Calvin Austin for a 23-yard touchdown pass with 6:15 remaining, but he'd also lost a fumble at the Steelers' 31-yard line late in the first half that led to a Browns' field goal. Wilson's numbers were still encouraging within the context of the weather conditions the game was played in, and he'll now have extra time to prepare for a key divisional Week 13 road clash against the Bengals on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Wilson completed 23 of 36 passes for 205 yards with an interception in Sunday's 18-16 win over the Ravens.
Analysis
Both defenses came into the contest with similar ideas and mostly took away the deep passing game, but Wilson also squandered his one chance for a score with a red-zone INT in the fourth quarter. The veteran QB is still 4-0 since taking over the starting job from Justin Fields with a 6:2 TD:INT, and one lackluster performance won't put his job in jeopardy. Wilson will look to bounce back in Week 12 against the Browns.
Wilson completed 14 of 28 passes for 195 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 28-27 win over the Commanders. He also rushed the ball four times for three yards.
Analysis
Wilson couldn't maintain the efficiency of his first two starts of the season, as he slipped to only 7.0 yards per carry. However, he still led the Steelers to four scoring drives, and he capped three of those with passing scores of 32, 16 and three yards. His 32-yard touchdown came with only 2:16 remaining and proved to be the game-winning score on a deep connection with newcomer Mike Williams. Wilson now has three total touchdowns in two of his three starts and has yet to throw an interception.
The Steelers added WR Mike Williams via a trade from the Jets on Tuesday, giving Wilson another receiving option, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports.
Analysis
Wilson has fared well in his two starts for Pittsburgh, completing 36 of 57 (63.2 percent) passes for 542 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions while recording 10 yards and another TD on six carries. He will welcome a wide receiver onto the roster that's well suited to his strengths, namely his deep-ball acumen. Williams might need some time to acclimate to a new system, but he should soon join George Pickens and tight end Pat Freiermuth as the team's top downfield options in due time, which could boost Wilson's upside.
Wilson completed 20 of 28 pass attempts for 278 yards and a touchdown while rushing three times for seven yards with a lost fumble in Monday's 26-18 win over the Giants.
Analysis
Wilson had Pittsburgh's offense clicking out of halftime after several lengthy first half drives resulted in field goals. The 35-year-old is looking like a good fit in Pittsburgh's scheme through two starts with 542 passing yards and four combined touchdowns in two team victories. The 6-2 Steelers now will enter a bye week before resuming play against the Commanders on Sunday, Nov. 10. Wilson should be considered a solid fantasy play Week 10 as he continues to get acclimated to his new offense over the bye.
Wilson completed 16 of 29 pass attempts for 264 yards and two touchdowns while adding three carries for three yards and a third touchdown in Sunday's 37-15 win over the Jets.
Analysis
Wilson made his much-anticipated debut with Pittsburgh after joining the club this offseason and missing the first six games due to a calf injury. The veteran quarterback looked healthy in Sunday's primetime matchup, producing three touchdowns without turning the ball over in a decisive victory. Head coach Mike Tomlin validated his decision to start Wilson over the 4-2 Steelers' interim starter, Justin Fields, based on Sunday night's results. Wilson figures to continue leading this contending squad into another nationally televised game when Pittsburgh hosts the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 8.
