Ravens coach John Harbaugh has already mentioned Henry as a candidate for an extension, after the 31-year-old ran for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns in 17 regular-season games during the first year of a two-year, $16 million contract. The two sides likely will discuss a deal that lowers Henry's 2025 cap hit ($12.895 million) without reducing his real-money compensation. He's currently scheduled for a non-guaranteed $6 million base salary and a $1 million roster bonus (due on the fifth day of the 2025 league year), plus $2.5 million available via incentives ($2 million of which he earned in 2024).

Henry is currently heading into the final season of the two-year, $16 million contract he inked with Baltimore after departing Tennessee as a free agent last offseason. The Ravens are now incentivized to restructure the deal -- which carries a potential 'out' for $3.9 million in dead cap -- and it's no surprise that the team would prefer to do so in the form of an extension beyond the 2025 season. Henry is coming off a phenomenal inaugural campaign in purple and black, having compiled 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on a career-high 5.9 yards per carry across 17 games, in addition to a 19-193-2 receiving line. The 31-year-old was also productive in the Ravens' two playoff games, carrying 42 times for 270 yards and three touchdowns. Henry hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, and as long as he's playing at an elite level, he'll remain an ideal complement in the backfield to dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Henry's opportunities were somewhat capped by a game script that saw the Ravens trail from the 8:52 mark of the second quarter on. The bruising back still managed to rattle off several chunk gains throughout the evening, and he punched in a five-yard touchdown run with 1:37 remaining in the third quarter to bring Baltimore to within two points for the first of two occasions in the second half. Henry proved a seamless fit in the first year of a two-year, $16 million contract with the Ravens, rushing for 1,921 yards -- the second-highest total of his career -- and 16 touchdowns at a career-high 5.9 yards per carry, numbers he complemented with a 19-193-2 receiving line across 17 regular-season games.

Henry posted monstrous fantasy numbers despite not recording a reception in Baltimore's convincing wild-card victory. The perennial All-Pro joined another tier of legendary tailbacks when he matched Hall of Famer Jim Brown for the most games with 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns in NFL history, with that mark currently sitting at 13 regular and postseason games (source: ESPN Research). Henry could separate himself from the Browns' great in that specific regard if he can replicate those numbers in the divisional round.

Analysis

Henry broke legendary Baltimore RB Jamal Lewis' franchise record for most rushing touchdowns in a single season with his first trip to the end zone Saturday. The 30-year-old Henry accomplished the feat in his first season with the club, setting the new high-water mark at 16 rushing touchdowns. He also became the first player in NFL history with three seasons recording at least 1,500 rushing yards and 15 rushing scores. King Henry will look to keep his strong campaign going in next week's wild-card round against either the Steelers or Chargers.

Analysis

Just four days after trampling the Steelers defense to the tune of 162 yards, Henry nearly matched the elite output in a victory over another AFC contender. The only true blemish on the bruising veteran's day was the fact he was dropped for a safety early in the second quarter. Otherwise, Henry was brilliant while snapping a four-game touchdown drought and pushing his rushing yardage total up to 1,783 for the season, the second-best mark of his career. He'll have a chance to pile up more yardage in the Ravens' regular-season finale against the Browns.

Analysis

The 189 scrimmage yards were Henry's highest single-game total since Week 4, when he trampled the Bills for 199 yards on the ground and 10 more through the air. The veteran RB blew past the 1,500-yard milestone on the season in the process, and his 1,636 yards represents his best showing since his career-high 2,027 yards in 2020. Henry will look to keep rolling in Week 17 on the road against the Texans.

Analysis

With Lamar Jackson throwing five touchdown passes, Henry was in the rare role of forgotten man on offense Sunday. The bruising back's non-descript afternoon was his first of under 70 rushing yards without a touchdown during his nascent but stellar Ravens tenure. Henry may have a tough time bouncing back in a Week 16 Saturday afternoon home matchup against the Steelers considering the quality of Pittsburgh's run defense.

Analysis

Henry didn't post a monstrous stat line like we have become accustomed to over the course of his storied career, but he still produced 111 yards from scrimmage without turning the ball over. The simple fact that this performance checked out as one of Henry's lowest fantasy scores of the season paints a picture of how dominant King Henry has been since aligning with Lamar Jackson in Baltimore this season. With the added rest from Baltimore's upcoming bye, Henry should be locked in for a strong finish to the campaign when the Ravens resume play against the Giants on Dec. 15.
